This is Q-Tip, our own little deaf kitten. Her mother appeared at the farm in the spring of 2004, emaciated, dirty, very tired and very hesitant to come close to a human of any kind. We put food out for her, of course, and despite the dogs, she decided to stay.
It was not until a week or so later that we discovered she was hiding a single, very small, white Q-Tip out behind a shed. We made a home for them both.
